Double Glazing & Window Restorations

2 panes of glass separated by a sealed space of air or gas to provide a thermal break.

We use a 12mm Warm Edge Superspacer to minimise thermal bridging * 

All our glass comes toughened as  standard keeping your family safe.  

We use a variety of glass thickness’ according to the size of the window as per the N.C.C.  #

A window film fitted to the inside of selected glass to Provide a higher level of insulation and reduce Heat Transfer through glass.

A lower number represents higher efficiency and resistance to heat transferring through the glass.

Solar radiation transferring  through a  window.

A higher number is good for winter as it allows more heat from the sun. ^

A lower number is good for summer especially where solar exposure is excessive.

 *  Approx % of U-Value  Upgrade improvement above  a standard 3mm single glazed Timber window.

* Thermal Bridging:  A Thermal Break provides a barrier from one surface to another to reduce the transfer of heat or cold.
